报告人简介:
Dr. Wei Zhang is a Professor and the Director of the Center for Green Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Boston. His previous positions include Research Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Senior Chemist at DuPont, and Director at Fluorous Technologies, Inc. His current research is in the areas of green chemistry, organocatalysis, and drug discovery. He has coauthored 243 papers including three in Chem. Rev. on synthetic radicals and fluorous technologies, 6 issued US patents, and two books on green synthesis. He has been serving as editor and editorial advisory member on nine international journals. He is the winner of 2015 International Fluorous Technologies Award.
报告简介:
This presentation highlights the research of our lab on the development green synthetic techniques including one-pot and multicomponent reactions to maximize reaction efficiency and increase product diversity; recyclable organocatalyst-promoted cascade reactions for asymmetric fluorination, Michael addition, Mannich reaction, Robinson annulation for the synthesis of drug-like molecules. Screening of the compounds for druggable targets such bromodomains, kinases, RORgt, and HIV-1 will also be discussed.
