报告人简介:
赵宇,博士,教授,博士生导师新加坡国立大学化学系;2002 年本科毕业于北京大学化学与分子工程学院;2008 年于波士顿学院获得有机化学博士学位,2008-2011 年在麻省理工学院从事博士后研究工作。2011 年赢得新加坡国家研究基金会启动基金后选择加入新加坡国立大学,2017 年获得终身制的副教授职位。主要从事不对称催化与手性合成,化学合成自动化工艺,尤其是发展了基于借氢策略的绿色化学,可用于无废料经济高效合成药物/材料。近 5年内在化学领域顶尖杂志 Nat. Chem., Chem, JACS, Angew.Chem.Int.Ed.和 Nat. Commun.上发表 >40篇论文。近几年获得多项国际奖项,包括 Thieme Chemistry Journal Award 和六项 Asian Core Program Awards 以及 Tokyo Chemical Industry-SNIC Industry Award in Synthetic Chemistry。
报告简介:
Medium-sized rings (8-11 membered) represent uncharted and highly demanded chemical space in modern drug development. However, a general lack of efficient chemical synthesis of these structures presents a significant bottleneck for exploring them in medicinal chemistry research. My group in NUS has made breakthroughs in accessing diastereo- and enantioenriched 9- and 10-membered fused heterocycles through Pd-catalyzed formal cycloaddition. In this presentation, our recent endeavour in the introduction of novel dipoles and dipolarophiles to forge novel medium-sized heterocycles of various ring sizes and stereochemistry will be presented in details.
